| Dogs are really
adorable and fun to be with. That’s when the dog is your friends
and you won’t have to handle about all the other miniscule details
that could be tiring or irritating. For instance, are you able
to handle the grooming, the dog stench, and the constant bugging
of activity? This article will help you decide if you can really
be a dog person or just a gold fish in a bowl person.
Here are some things that you might have to
sacrifice when you have a dog. Are you able to sacrifice sudden
party nights, out of house or even out of towns for a period
of days? Don’t forget that you have a dog that needs feeding
and walking that gets left behind. You’d need to find someone
to take care of the dog first before you get out. If you think
you can sneak in your dog to those parties or in the car of
your friend then you have no problem. You may even have a neighbor
where you can immediately place your dog. But I doubt all those
situations could exist, because this isn’t a perfect world.
Are you prepared for the expenses and grooming
of your dog? Think about all the dog foods you’d have to buy.
What if your dog is a very choosy dog food eater? It would be
great if it was healthy to give the dog man scraps. The worst
thin about it is if you give a dog man scraps, it will become
sickly and more bills will come your way. There are some foods
that will give dogs skin problems.
Lets also face it; going to the vet is a horrific
experience for both you and your dog. Your dog might be terrified
of the test that will be given. You on the other hand will be
terrified to get the bill. Just imagine if your dog has a fracture.
Having it repaired would cost a whole lot of money.
The greatest investment that you would need
to make is time. You would need to have the time to take care
and exercise your dog. Dogs have a very high energy, even the
laziest of dogs. If you let them just sit down around the house
with you, it might develop something. You should have set a
time to walk it and groom in your daily life. If you have a
workaholic and life away from your house all the time, it would
be hard to maintain the dog.
Are you capable of handling all these stuff?
If you are doggy enough for this then go ahead and have the
puppy you always wanted. |
